Put this dulspade from Talen Tools straight into the ground for making planting holes. The straight ash wood handle puts a lot of pressure on the surface. The worksheet is 16.5 centimeters narrow, so you work compactly. You can therefore easily move plants and shrubs with a somewhat smaller root ball. The hardened steel worksheet is protected by a transparent coating, which keeps the cut sharp for longer. This dulspade features an 85-centimeter-long handle, which has a convenient and comfortable T-handle. Do not use this dulspade in heavy clay and loam soil. Narrower spades are better suited for this.

Maintain the sharp cut of the work blade
For greater convenience while gardening, the sharp cut of the work blade is an important factor. The transparent powder coating already makes the worktop dirt- and water-resistant. Want to extend the protection of that coating? Brush off the worktop after use and rinse it clean with water. Then, when the worktop is completely dry, coat it with oil or Teflon spray. Do this regularly to prevent rusting and other wear.

Protect the roots during transplanting
Very important during transplanting is keeping the roots intact. The better you protect the roots, the more likely the plant will continue to grow healthily in its new spot. When you place the plant in its new spot, healthy soil is important. Keep the soil airy so the roots have room to absorb water and oxygen. In addition to root protection, it is also a must not move plants during frost or bright sunshine. Preferably move in the fall (September/October) or spring (March/April) and do not do so when the ground is very wet.
